1:04
You should be able to see everything in there.
1:07
For today's presentation, we're going to be discussing Process Tracking Menu.
1:14
This particular topic is really great and for the Suffolk are a speaker, would be Abby, and she is one of our 10 years Software Specialist. And she's been with the company for almost are probably over four years now. So let's get started.
1:31
Take it away, Abby?
1:35
You ivory, hi everyone, good afternoon. And yes, today we're going to talk about process tracking. But without further ado, let's get started.
1:49
All right. So, what is pressed tracking menu?
1:52
Processed Drudging Venue is an optional module originally designed to help photofinishing Shops track The envelopes containing customers fail from the time it was dropped off through the development of the film.
2:06
And finally, when the prints were delivered to the customer, this feature could be used to track virtually any process that contains a series of steps or stages.
2:19
And we have here.
2:24
How to set it up in the setup wizard or where to set it up.
2:30
You just need to go to, Setup Tools, Setup Wizard, Special Modules, and Process Tracking, and just check this box, use trucking.
2:46
And we have here the many commands and sub menus. First, we have processed dropout.
2:53
This opens defined customer window where you select a customer to attach to the order.
3:00
Next, is the Process.
3:02
Quick scan, is, opens the Prices trucking, which scan mode to window, where you process the orders, to click Save.
3:12
Next, we have processes pick up and their self and its southend use, which is, pick up a barcode, pick up by customer complaints, and pick up the customer all.
3:24
So, the pickup, like customer complete and the pickup, like customer all commands. Open the find customer a window where you select to search for.
3:36
associate orders are auto fields related fields, and presses trucking pickup mode window And the pickup by Barcode Command opens at the prices, trucking big windmill directly.
3:51
Next, we have Process Editing, is opened the ... window where you search for and select an order to edit and modify the report.
4:04
And lastly, we have Process report is open as the Process Wrapping Report and label mode window where you can filter in few classes, trucking activity sessions, and print labels, or the entire report.
4:21
All right now at this, I'm gonna pull up my demo two, show you the setup and configuration and how to use it. So, again, to be able to use the feature, we have to enable it. First in the setup wizard, so from the menu.
4:43
Go to Setup Tools and Setup Wizard.
4:48
And that should be enter special modules.
4:53
Oh, man, Process, tracking.
4:58
So basically, the first task in process striking is that wrap up with the next big pickup. Alternately, you can use to scan them apart, pose and process the order similar to click save.
5:11
At anytime, you can search for an Edit orders in prices and view a report showing all activity in the classes.
5:20
All right. Out here.
5:26
In the process name box, you can enter the name you'll want to use to describe the process and the name become the name of the process trucking menu and really comments.
5:37
And so, the process name has a maximum, one T characters.
5:45
So, in this demonstration, I just named it as envelope.
5:52
And then, by default, system five creates a subtype and three stages.
5:58
These defaults are all that is required in order to start using this feature.
6:03
So, do add a new subtype aim two.
6:10
But, say, yes, just need to put the new name, and then click Add.
6:19
And you can also take this 5, 6, or seven stages.
6:28
Depends on your business, and do delete, unused and unused subtype name.
6:36
You just need to highlight or click that subtype name, and then delete, and you can also delete the state of the unused stage, or, and wanted stage.
6:50
Just click that, and control delete.
6:55
But in this, uh, version, it's not working. And also, try it up.
7:02
The other versions, and it is not actually, we're a king.
7:10
I might need to report this because it should delete by black teen, or play the role Let's delete.
7:22
It's recordkeeping.
7:27
So, all let me just delete dance isn't going to equal.
7:34
All right, now.
7:38
The lead time, each of the stages, a lead time and intervals, each of the stages within the process can have a different need time and time interval.
7:49
They can also have that the same that lead time and time interval.
7:54
These values are used to assist the user when entering information, and they do not control any automatic process.
8:02
These values are used to translate that to date, and that you use for each of the states. So, the lead time is a number of the variables required for this stage. Wildly time.
8:15
Interval is the measure of time, hour, day, or week that delete time refers to, say example.
8:23
Time value of one and a time interval of our indicates that the stage takes one hour to complete, and modifying the lead time or time interval will change the default value for a stage that is currently selected in this stage.
8:42
These values will be used to assist the third, as they move items from one stage to the next, or back again, they do not linked roll any automatic process procedures.
8:55
And take note that it is always recommended that you close System five after making changes to setup, re-opening the software anxious that Demeter setting. Take full effect.
9:08
So once you're done setting this up to close this setup wizard, I'm just gonna minimize it.
9:16
It takes two bulbs, and then to lack of system.
9:26
So let's say I've already locked out and log back in now.
9:31
Um, we have the process tracking that you display display's in Navigator and it's now showing envelope tracking as the needle that depress the process tracking.
9:52
Now let's try to use this picture.
9:56
So let's start with to drop off.
10:05
So when you select that, it's up pub slash sub five customer window where you select customer to deal with it.
10:14
It's That's customer.
10:27
Ah, Let me just type type of malware that Mark, because I don't out scan.
10:46
It has been dropped off these orders or this envelope.
10:53
Is now being dreadful.
11:03
And then, to process each in chairs goal for this verdict, quick scan.
11:09
I'm just gonna also take it mentally.
11:22
Sorry, I shook out.
11:34
Gentlemen, I'm just going to be one later.
11:48
So this is where you process the envelope and just like, first stage, or what would it be.
11:57
Second stage suggests if you type it in manually justs, hit Enter Bosses.
12:08
Or you can just use if you want to use ear.
12:16
Range of barcodes, you can just click this box here, then if you have multiple IPs subtypes, we have to select first before you process the envelope.
12:34
OK, just for example, you mistakenly process it in you're wrong, on stage, you can actually edit it.
12:47
Just think envelope etching.
12:54
Select the customer, say this fun nut, should it be, back from love, back from Lab?
13:03
And?
13:07
I'll show that H is ball as well as, as well as the time. So just eat at it.
13:17
Here, Ken, for example, that now, and then they should be, say yesterday, and that should be at one, say, one third.
13:38
Or just simply double click?
13:43
Correct.
13:46
Practice time to date.
13:50
Can actually also just double click and then select correct Jodi for this ordered, OK, And once done, you can hit Save, also, you can select the comments here, or you can just use the default comment.
14:09
Which one someone's done, it say.
14:16
And it's now showing a map.
14:19
And also, if this should be, on the next stage, you can just directly hit next or previous to.
14:31
Make it, go back to the first stage.
14:37
OK, and then, you can also invoice here the envelope, easy to invoice, the Invoice button, and since it's not yet in the last stage, assembled prep.
14:55
With this message, envelope, 0 0, 0, 500 is not on the last stage, are you sure you want to put envelope? So, yes, Just look, yes.
15:05
I'll just speak now.
15:08
So let's say Yes.
15:09
And then show us the our inputs, error type equals.
15:31
OK, so there.
15:35
All right, and go back here.
15:40
If this order shouldn't be process or drop off, you can just directly get this one if this is invalid order.
15:52
So, we can just delete this candidate, this for ..., as I'm gonna go to get up or to the pickup process.
16:11
OK.
16:15
So, you can either choose pick up by barcode or by customer complete or pickup.
16:23
costs are all, So, let's say pick up our barcode, it will, directly, uh, great, Eric, as to the.
16:35
vote.
16:48
So, since, it's just only one or Eclipse, so there's no need for us do, for you to, or for Me, too, barcode here.
17:02
OK, oh, I did not actually see the invoice, so yeah, You can also Invoice the order from here and then.
17:16
You can just print this report, so if you print this, previous show switches looked like business.
17:26
What look like?
17:39
All right, And for it, in the pick up Customer Complete, it will require you to select the customer.
18:16
It's not yet Complete, sorry, So let's see, OK.
18:26
So this is.
18:29
Same with this one, Pete, below the customer, Ebola required to select, ah casper.
18:50
OK, the same with Bill.
18:56
And, or, um, the reports, if you want to see all the activities, or the logs, or the history, you can just Oh, let's just put the dates.
19:13
Hmm, hmm.
19:24
OK, so, there it is.
19:29
So, this is the first, uh, session, or yeah, this is the first activity that was done.
19:40
And then we did a quick scan twice because the first one was, was that mistake.
19:48
And then we edit at that.
19:51
So, basically, this is just a trail and by clicking each session will show you them the barcode associated with it.
20:06
Can I just show stage details and in this report, you can either print the report or just the labels, so 83, I'm sorry, I don't have that one day.
20:20
If you print, if you choose different de Ladles, just click this button, and then, if they, if you want the entire report, just click this, but the mirror, you.
20:39
So, this, we'll show it, Just be, um, that barcode.
20:45
check for subtype, so on and so forth.
20:48
And there is aye is at default.
20:57
Or White?
21:04
Yeah, for the report.
21:05
But the lethal aid has a designer for you to edit, or put, remove, or put you, information are detailed.
21:19
So, I guess that would be all for today's webinar.
21:22
If you have questions or clarification, justs put it, or type it in the question box.
21:31
Great, thank you, Abby. Excellent. That was an excellent presentation.
21:36
And at this point, we're now open for the questions and Q&A portion, or you can be able to I became able to check it out with you and answer them.
21:51
Ah, for the first question we have from Colin Duff, back in a setup wizard.
21:58
How do you change the name of the number one subtype once created in your system, is it called default?
22:11
Yeah.
22:12
Yeah.
22:15
Did you get the Abby?
22:20
Abby?
22:24
Sorry, I was muted. Sorry. Let me just go back to it.
22:31
Yeah.
22:34
So again, by default system, once you, um, enable that, That feature, system five for each subtype and three stages by default, so two, Add a new subtype name.
22:56
He just simply, um, within the new subtype name, and then there's what I call this one Select, or.
23:10
Edit the number of stages you want.
23:13
Make it like 10, or, it depends on your business, say, 10 stages, And then just click Add.
23:23
But then, and then it will then, um, add the new subtype and its stages. So to rename the stages to chest.
23:37
Stage, you'll want to remains same, sorry.
23:44
So in the law, sorry, too, al.
23:53
So just like that, you just need to click every stage and then rename it.
24:04
Answer your question, I hope that answers your question, and Colin, let us now, for the second question.
24:11
From Josh White, when he said, can you run a report that shows all items that are in the process at all points?
24:26
Yes, you just need to set a date to, no date, so it will show all the process.
24:34
As well as the items associated with those up sessions.
24:41
Is this what you meant?
24:43
I forgot. Josh.
24:47
Oh, Josh. Let us let us know, Josh, if that's what you meant.
24:53
Next question for, for what type of process tracking. Is this most used for? Can it be used for production management management? Question for coming from Erin?
25:06
Oh, this can be, as I've said, this Fissure could be used to, for any process that contains a series of state steps or stages. So, defensive is fit state, your business.
25:29
OK, thanks Abby for that.
25:33
Another question for, from Kat.
25:36
The description of this webinar also mentions we'll also discuss how to track how many feet are remaining on the cut roll, ah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that, I don't think that was part of the description, ah Kat, let me double check.
25:56
I don't think so.
25:59
See, webinar discuss. This webinar will discuss process tracking menu as an optional met module, that could be used to track virtually any process that contains a series of steps or stages.
26:14
There will be live demonstration, and quick Q&A. I'm sorry, I can't, I don't think that was just mentioned into the description of the webinar. It could be from a different webinar. Can you please double check?
26:28
OK, so we'll proceed with the next question from, OK, from Josh, she says, can you only have one process?
26:40
Yes, you can.
26:45
You can only have like one process and then import it directly to it, ends in your business.
26:54
Is that sorry, I meant a full report with a row for each record stating the barcode and where are the given code or the given barcode is in the process.
27:06
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't get that.
27:10
OK, he says, sorry, I meant a full report with a row for each record stating the barcode and where the given barcode is in the process.
27:27
Um.
27:29
Well, hmm.
27:36
Actually, this is the only report that we have for it, is process tracking. It, sure, I'm so sorry. There's no other reports that we can use for this one.
27:49
Other than this report, it shows up here.
27:56
And we cannot also, like, customize this report this.
28:01
is this a design.
28:06
OK, so for the next question from Erin, is a she says, can these sages be associated to a specific work order as it can work? All order goes through different stages.
28:22
Oh. Here, if you create a new shell, then we're just dry here.
28:42
Aye.
28:49
Oh, OK.
28:56
So, yes, Once dangler had been dropped off, he can.
29:02
If it's not yet, in, boys are, Yes. And you can just create madeley, work order invoice, and then just click this envelope.
29:14
Let's close this.
29:25
OK?
29:29
And then there.
29:36
OK, I hope that answers your question, Arundo.
29:41
Aaron, I'm just gonna double check if this actually already. I mean, once I click that button there, from the invoice, to check if it's just actually already what I call this one linked to that work order, OK?
30:00
I'll get back to you later OK Ah, OK another one here if we don't use barcodes, what is another way to easily manage the different orders?
30:15
Um.
30:18
That is the only news drop all.
30:25
Barcode is the only, um, yeah, close this one.
30:44
Barcode is the only way to.
30:57
So, yeah, barcode is the only way, although here enter check number.
31:04
But usually the barcode is, what, is, what is what the, what I call this one is the field that we need to use, or the requirement to process the order.
31:22
Because here, in the quick scan.
31:31
Yeah.
31:40
When you process it, there's no other field that we can use to process the order other than entry or scan the barcode.
31:53
Hmm.
32:01
This.
32:05
Yep.
32:08
Yeah, I agree.
32:11
Yeah.
32:12
Ah, so, um, another question from.
32:21
Dale, can you customize the name of the process so it isn't envelope tracking?
32:30
Yes, um.
32:33
Again, go back here, So here you can say for example, if it's bad trucking process.
32:44
Like, if you want a different name, just simply rename, It, will then you need then to close this set up, and then the lag Arab system five. And then once you allow back and it will then show the unit.
32:59
So, it is recommended. It is always recommended to close system five after making changes to the setup.
33:11
Because if, by default, say this has not been set up, it shows here process tracking, not envelop.
33:22
So it's showing you guys, I've already set it up as envelope as the process name.
33:28
So just simply rename it from the processed name box.
33:36
OK?
33:40
OK, thanks Avi.
33:45
OK, let's see.
33:53
OK, so another question from If for Mallery if we don't use barcodes, what is another way to easily manage the different orders?
34:09
Oh sorry, we already answered that one. Sorry about that. I'm confused. Mallory also asked question, Can you do it by work order or item number?
34:22
What do you mean?
34:25
I think pertaining to the previous question that she had or had, it should be the bar code.
34:37
Letting me in a barcode on the envelope or whatever it looked like the order.
34:47
Oh I'm actually also confused about that one Mallory?
34:54
I'll have we'll try to have someone or Abby.
34:57
Can you, you call Mallory on a separate ticket regarding this question?
35:02
I'm also confused us, there's questions going on here and it's not.
35:09
I'm having a hard time connecting them from the previous questions, or it can be coming from the discussion that you have.
35:14
Just mention, like this was a follow up question.
35:19
Also for Josh and the cat.
35:24
With regards to the the, the notes that you have, um, seen, and you mentioned, it's coming from the e-mail, I'm not sure what went wrong in there, but we'll check because the only details that we have on the, no, it's here is, uh, it did not mention about the uh, tracking of how many feet are remaining on the cut rolls.
35:52
Ah, not sure exactly what went wrong in there.
35:58
OK, so let me double check another question from Can I also get the information on assigning a work order or sage, OK? Um, sorry, ah, unfortunately we don't have time for.
36:11
A few more questions here, but yes Erin.
36:18
I know under said it's, it's been a struggle because uh, of the process. But I would appreciate if I would have Abby to call you instead to discuss further and this one.
36:29
And so is the rest of the up?
36:33
You guys, it has answered questions, so we'll create a separate ticket for that.
36:38
And so you can have a discussion with regards to this one, and if you have any follow up questions that you might want to ask later, as well, you can also request for a ticket on that one that's on our website, support that when we're software dot com, OK.
36:58
Ah, OK, so, um, before the presentation, I'm not sure, Abby, if you were able to discuss a few slides you have in there.
37:07
Oh, yeah, sure.
37:11
