The webinar by Windward Software focused on the national accounts feature in System Five. The feature allows linking of parent customer accounts with subsidiary accounts, where invoices can be managed in both directions. The webinar focused on the system Five’s National Accounts feature, enabling customers' accounts to have subsidiaries. This was to enable a parent company to manage invoices for subsidiary companies and vice versa.
The setup process was highlighted, requiring enabling the feature in the setup wizard, associating a parent or national customer, and associating subsidiaries.
The webinar included a live demonstration, showing how a national account or parent company pays invoices for its subsidiaries.
User inquiries were addressed, like if customer's can have only one invoice assigned to a national account and how invoices can be forwarded to a warranty company.
Abby shared resources, including Windward Software’s help center, knowledge base, customer care portal, support avenue for system down scenarios, and professional service guidance for working within System Five.
The moderator announced an upcoming webinar about the “rental checklist set-up and function” scheduled for June 15th, 1PM Pacific Time.

In this webinar, we will be discussing what is National accounts, how to set it up and how will the national account or barrick copy.

Parent company pays the invoices for its subsidiaries.

All right, now what? What is national accounts?

National Accounts counts is a feature or an option in System five where you can link the current customer account, do a single parent customer record or link a number of subsidiary accounts to the Current Account or both.

The National Academy Parent Company is normally invoiced and paste the invoices braced subsidiaries.

And also, a subsidiary can also have a subsidiary. Then invoices are normally made to the subsidiary.

Also, statements and payments are made by the parent or national account.

And the subsidiary National Credit Limits are checked when making invoices.

Invoices can also be made to the head office.

And now, we will proceed to the setup.

And, in order for us to be able to use that feature, we have to enable it first in the setup wizard.

So, from your Navigator or from the menu, go to Setup Tools.

Setup Always alright, customers, national subsidiary accounts, and then check the checkbox use National Parent, or subsidiary caps.

Take Note, all customer records involved in national or subsidiary relationship must be Approach Type Count as set off the National Tap.

Now, here are the steps How to associate a parent or national customer account to the customer record like making it a subsidiary account.

So, first, the National Accounts tab that this subsidiary account is financed by a parent company checkbox to open my defined customer window.

So, I'll either check this box or check this.

This subsidiary cop is famous by a bank, account to select or too late, the parent account for parents.

And next, find and select the national or parent record to shape the customer to listen as a subsidiary.

Once selected, defined customer window closes, and the parent record conduct details are displayed in the top version tab.

So what's after you length the parent account, it will then show you that information of that parent customer.

And to view parent customer account details, The View button, to open the Customer Details window with the customer record display.

So if you wanna look at the parent record, or the parent customer record, just it is, do you.

Click OK to save your settings.

Next, to associate one or more subsidiary customer accounts, to the customer record firsts, Click on a black active cell to open the find customer withheld.

So to add a subsidiary account, just click this, clap, active cell, select or the subsidiary customer and then find and select a customer record to associate the customer. As a subsidiary once, selected defined, Customer window closes and a subsidiary Customer record contact details are displayed in the blood pressure taps.

So after you select the subsidiary account, it will show you that this list.

And now, ah, I'll, we'll be pulling up, as a customer, I will link the parent company, our parent customer.

And let's say, OK, I have already set it up at length just to show you. So, again, Delink the parent account, just like this Block's orange, is simply click this.

And this will pop up for you to select the Parent Accounts, so that it's, OK, Click OK.

And then, when you are in, OK, this is the parent account. So, if you'll want to see the subsidiary invoices, though, to invoice your staff.

And we can see here that we have one invoice from, from James Smith is the subsidiary account for its customer.

So, we held, ah, or this customer has a balanced package, hundred dollars and 13%.

All right, and if you want to see the total national Dalles, just go or see it from the national accounts cap.
